The objective of this Information Day is to generate awareness about the forthcoming calls from the Alliance for Language Technologies and Open-Source Foundation Model, offering relevant stakeholders a platform to identify potential collaborators.

In this two-day hackathon, we invite talents to join us in imagining the future of scientific processes in the age of foundational models. Attendees will work in teams to propose the next “startup” that supports human-AI collaboration on scientific tasks. They will experiment with the powers and limitations of ChatGPT to develop a minimum viable product showcasing their idea then pitch it to the audience and a jury of experts.

This webinar aims to initiate a dialogue addressing the challenges associated with adhering to research ethics best practices, focusing particularly on the protection of user data and pseudonymisation. Performing research in accordance with ethical best practices is a high priority for projects large and small, and is of particular importance within those many projects where human beings are directly engaged, as research subjects, for the co-creation and validation of results, or as participants in project events. Unfortunately, however, the codes and rules for ethical best practice often don’t seem to fit easily with the goals, audiences, contexts, or resources of many transnational, multi-partner projects, such as those funded by the European Horizon programme.

This event, held from February 19th to 23rd, 2024, in Grenoble, France, promises to be a hub of knowledge, bringing together Master and PhD students, young researchers, and engineers in the field of Socially Assistive Robots.

Join us in Amsterdam, a dynamic hub of AI innovation, as we gather leaders from various European AI ecosystems. Our aim is to foster discussions on the transformative potential of public-private partnerships in driving AI innovation.

Five panelists will be asked questions related to the acceptability and trustworthiness of AI, data, and robotics-driven technologies. These questions will be based on the findings from our research in T3.2 (interviews with business owners, analyses of business reports, a survey). The main goal of the questions is to provide the European Commission with practical and actionable recommendations on how to encourage European businesses to use more ADR technologies.

Join us for the first edition of AI, Data and Robotics Forum (ADRF) on November 8-9, where we'll bring together industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, and thought-provoking speakers to inspire and shape the future of AI, Data, and Robotics in Europe. This must-attend event, organized by the AI, Data and Robotics Association (Adra), will be a fully hybrid experience, combining the best of in-person and virtual interactions.

The ADR Awareness Day is an annual stakeholder engagement event dedicated to raising awareness of the acceptability and trustworthiness of ADR (AI, Data, and Robotics) technologies. Hosted by the Adra-e Project, the seminar brings together experts and stakeholders to explore the latest developments and initiatives aimed at fostering trust and ethics in AI applications.

The KT4Democracy.eu project is an initiative which delves into the potential of contemporary technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in bolstering democratic processes and fostering enhanced civic engagement.
