On the 9th of October KT4Democracy.eu will host a webinar titled, 'Examining the Impacts and Implications of AI & Big Data in Enhancing Inclusive Civic Participation.' This initiative is part of the Knowledge Technologies for Democracy (KT4D) project, which delves into the potential of contemporary technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in bolstering democratic processes and fostering enhanced civic engagement.

The webinar aims to:

1. Showcase how KT4D collaborates with stakeholders to advocate for technology design centered around human welfare, inclusivity, and core democratic and ethical values.

2. Offer insights into the current intersections of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and democratic governance.

3. Highlight KT4D's primary objectives and methodologies in addressing contemporary societal challenges.

The webinar will delve into specific 'Use Cases' involving four European cities: Brussels, Warsaw, Madrid, and Dublin. Each city represents unique challenges and target demographics. Representatives from Trinity College Dublin, which coordinates the project, will be present alongside consortium members from Demos Helsinki, Ciber Voluntarios, and the Institute of Urban and Regional Development.

Format: The event is designed to be both instructional and interactive, concluding with a Q&A session for attendees to participate actively in discussions.
